How to fill in the block height?:
The time calculation in the BTC ecosystem uses block timing.
The average generation time of a block in the Bitcoin network is approximately 10 minutes, but this time is often affected by factors such as fluctuations in mining power, network difficulty adjustments, and occasional events, causing the generation time to lengthen or shorten.
There have been instances where the time interval between two blocks was as short as 1 second, and the longest block generation interval was approximately 1 hour and 59 minutes.
Basic calculation: 7 days x 144 blocks/day = 1008 blocks. If you strictly use 1008 blocks (7 days x 144 blocks/day), your asset lockup period may be slightly longer or shorter than 7 days.
Fluctuation Range: To account for fluctuations, we recommend increasing the number of blocks by approximately 5% to 10%, for example, using 1060 to 1100 blocks.
Recommendation: If you prefer a lockup period of at least 7 days, we recommend using 1100 blocks.
This ensures that your assets are securely locked for a sufficient period, even if the block generation rate increases.
10 minutes is an average, not a fixed value. Actual block times fluctuate randomly, like the roll of a dice.
